About PrivacyTechIndia
Empowering 1.4 billion Indians with the knowledge and tools to protect their digital privacy.
Our Mission
PrivacyTechIndia was founded in 2024 with a singular mission: to make digital privacy accessible and understandable for every Indian. In a nation with over 800 million internet users, the need for privacy education has never been greater.
We believe that privacy is a fundamental right, enshrined in the Indian Constitution by the landmark Supreme Court judgement of 2017 (Justice K.S. Puttaswamy v. Union of India). With the passage of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, India has taken a significant step toward protecting citizens' data rights.
Our team of cybersecurity experts, legal professionals, and technology journalists works tirelessly to translate complex privacy concepts into actionable advice that every Indian can follow, whether you are a student in Kanpur, a business owner in Chennai, or a retired teacher in Pune.
